Lisa Voss
It was elephants on which Lisa had her first experience in the saddle as a child – as a reward for stable work at a local circus in Dresden. But horses followed soon after. Lisa decided to learn horsemanship from scratch.
She stayed with her mentors for several years each in order to thoroughly understand their philosophies, and to learn how to put them in practice. This allowed her to really dive deep into the subject and also bring her work in hand and on the lunge line to a level that is second to none.
Lisa's Vita

Training as a professional rider at an institute for classical-baroque riding in Germany. Extensive study of the history of horsemanship, extensive experience with applied historical horsemanship, schools above ground, work on the long rein. Training of stallions of all baroque horse breeds such as PRE, Lusitano, Knabstrupper, Lippizaner….
2007
With Nuno Andrade in Portugal. Traditional training methods interpreted in a modern way.
2007-2010
Working as a freelance trainer for horse and rider. Training with Pascale Berthier-Herzog, student of Jean-Claude Racinet. Insight into the theory and practical applicability of the riding teachings of François Baucher.

José Carlos Coutinho
José Carlos wanted to become a great horseman since he was a young boy. Since he was not lucky enough to grow up in a Portuguese equestrian family, he had to make great sacrifices in order to spend his free time with horses. He gladly accepted the daily, hour-long walk to his first instructor.
It was worth it! The foundation of his work with horses was built in these days and has enabled him to work for the best riding masters and bullfighters in Portugal.
Carlos' Vita
1991-1997
Apprenticeship with João Ferreira (confidant of riding master Nuno Oliveira). Training horses for the Portuguese Riding School and bullfighting horses from all over the country. Systematic training incorporating ancient classical principles still forms the basis of Carlos’ work with horses today – especially when it comes to training piaffe and passage.
1997-2000
Trainer at Companhia das Lezirias. Focus: Breaking in young horses and promoting problem horses with physical and mental difficulties up to the highest level including lessons of the high school.
2000-2005
Working for Luis Rouxinol (one of the best bullfighters in Portugal). Dressage training with regard to bull work, which requires absolute mutual trust of horse and rider and unconditional obedience.

Dagmar Tomisova
Dagmar found her way to Lisa and Carlos through her two Iberian horses Africana and Romero. She has long since developed a deep friendship with Lisa and Carlos. As a professional controller, she manages the administrative tasks of the Coudelaria seemingly effortlessly and takes care of organizational matters.

Floor Onink
Floor is in the middle of her training as a professional rider. She takes care of the horses of the Coudelaria all day long, looks after guests and simply keeps an eye on everything. She is literally the “girl for everything”, and she does it with passion.

Lucia Weiß
Lucia simply has an eye for the perfect moment and the perfect lighting. She reliably captures the most atmospheric moments with her camera – equally on photo as on video.
